Community Programs & Outreach

The Charlie Fund is proud to partner with local and national organizations to share mental wellness tools and resources.

We are currently operating three key initiatives: the Emotional Intelligence Curriculum, Little Free Food Pantries, and the Elevate partnership.

Emotional Intelligence Curriculum

The Charlie Fund is developing a modular curriculum that teaches parents, teachers, and students the foundations for emotional intelligence. Our curriculum is being developed alongside our community, lead by a combination of experienced and certified educators and mental health professionals.

Uniting Mental + Physical Health

Little Free Food Pantries + Hunger Relief

The Little Free Food Pantries is a project based in South Florida on a mission to end hunger among school-age children. These are community-funded pantries that are restocked weekly and sponsored by locals and businesses. There are currently over 50 LFPs across South Florida, each with a live QR code so supplies can be tracked and restocked when needed.

In addition to LFP, we partner with other hunger organizations to provide meals.

Our intention in supporting and providing free food pantries is to provide free, consistent access to one of our most basic needs: food. We can’t show up as our truest, best selves on an empty stomach, and the Little Free Pantries are a tool to ensure everyone has access to a meal when they need it most.

Elevate

The Charlie Fund partnered with Elevate to bring mental health and wellness resources to grade schools in Ohio, Florida, and Connecticut. Our courses are designed for parents, teachers, and students to expand emotional intelligence and healthy communication.
